Ten years of experience working within schools — alongside teachers, SENCOs, senior leadership and families — to understand what lies behind children's behaviour and build environments where they can thrive.

What I offer

A whole-school approach to wellbeing

Children's difficulties in school rarely exist in isolation. Behaviour is communication — and understanding what's being communicated, and by whom, requires working at every level of a school community.

One-to-one counselling
Individual counselling for pupils within the school setting — including initial assessment to establish whether one-to-one work is the right step.
Staff consultation
Working alongside class teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff to think about individual pupils — understanding the stresses and communications behind behaviour, and finding ways to respond more effectively.
Senior leadership consultation
Supporting senior leadership teams to develop a whole-school approach to mental health and wellbeing — policy, culture, staff confidence and systemic thinking.
INSET & training
Delivering INSET sessions for teaching and support staff on topics including child development, attachment, behaviour as communication, and supporting pupils with anxiety, trauma or neurodivergence.
Place2Think
Offering Place2Think — a reflective consultation model for school staff to think about the emotional and relational dimensions of their work with children, in a supported and contained space.
Family liaison
Working at the interface between school and home — helping families and schools understand each other's perspectives and find a shared approach to supporting a child.
My experience

Ten years in schools

I have worked within school settings for over a decade, across primary and secondary, in mainstream and specialist provision, and within diverse, multicultural communities in northwest London. I understand how schools work — the pressures on staff, the complexity of families, and the gap that can open up between what a child needs and what a system can offer. My role is often to help bridge that gap.
